1968 Chevrolet Camaro 355 V8 Restomod 700R4 Auto, finished in striking Electron Blue Pearl metallic with painted Cortez Silver stripes and subtle red pinstriping, complemented by a black interior with contrasting white inserts. Sitting on polished American Racing wheels with Wilwood front disc brakes a cowl induction hood.
Originally purchased new by Nancy Jeffares from John Smith Chevrolet, Georgia, on December 5th 1967, the car remained in Georgia before undergoing a complete no-expense-spared Restomod transformation. Originally a Seafrost Green Camaro, the car was rebuilt with all metalwork replaced with the exception of the roof and doors, resulting in the exceptional example you see today.
Now powered by a 355 Chevrolet V8 with World heads and 650 Demon carburettor, the engine is paired to a 700R4 4-speed overdrive automatic transmission with Corvette servo and converter. Further specification includes LSD, power steering, an 8½-inch rear axle with Auburn 3. 73 gears and Eaton carrier, Wilwood disc brakes, Vintage Air conditioning, Autometer gauges, LED lighting, upgraded audio system, Beecool aluminium radiator with dual electric fans, Flowmaster 2½-inch 40-series exhaust system, detailed engine bay and exceptionally clean underside.
Imported into the UK in 2020 and having covered over a 1000 miles since, and still presents to genuine show standard throughout. A multiple ‘Best of Show’ award winner, the car is supplied with photographs documenting its awards history along with several trophies retained from its time in the United States, further reflecting the quality of the build and attention to detail throughout.
