Description
Auto Torque is proud to present this stunning 1998 Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution, finished in Scotia White.
We have owned this car ourselves since February and have thoroughly enjoyed taking it to shows and events during that time, often towing our fully restored Tommi Mäkinen Edition Evo VI.
Mitsubishi built the Pajero Evolution as a homologation special, allowing it to compete in the 1998 Dakar Rally. The Pajero/ Montero platform went on to win the Dakar Rally 12 times, making it one of Mitsubishi's most successful vehicles to compete in the event.
We purchased this example from a great friend, client of Auto Torque, and fellow Mitsubishi enthusiast and collector. It was imported to the UK from Japan in 2020 and has had just three owners since. The car comes with an excellent service history, including its original Japanese service records, as well as a folder of invoices documenting the work carried out in the UK.
This particular example also benefits from a number of desirable additions, including 15-inch OZ Roulette wheels, measuring 8J front and rear with an ET25 offset, fitted with tyres. The wheels and tyres represent an investment of approximately £5, 000 and complement the aggressive stance of the Pajero Evolution perfectly.
The car is also fitted with a performance exhaust system and custom aluminium air box induction kit, along with mud flaps and a tow bar and a tow bar included with the car.
The Pajero Evolution remains a hugely desirable and increasingly rare Mitsubishi, combining genuine homologation heritage with the unmistakable character of a 1990s Japanese performance car. This is a particularly special example that we have personally enjoyed owning and using.
