Introduced in 1985, it brought turbocharged performance and sophisticated technology to the compact hatchback segment, quickly earning a reputation as one of the most exciting small sporting cars of its generation.
With its lightweight body, turbocharged 1. 3-litre engine and distinctive Italian character, the first-generation Uno Turbo i. e. became a true icon of its time. Today, it is an increasingly appealing youngtimer for enthusiasts who remember these cars from their youth and collectors looking for an engaging piece of 1980s automotive history.
Offered for sale is this first-series, first-generation example, equipped with electric windows and a sunroof. Inside, it features a period Alpine radio and rare, highly desirable aftermarket door speakers, adding an authentic touch to its 1980s character.
The last owner acquired the car around 2010 from a friend who had already owned it since approximately 2005, giving this example a history with relatively few known owners over the past two decades.
Around 2015, the car underwent restoration work. This included bodywork repairs around the sunroof and front wings, while both front doors were replaced with other doors in excellent condition. The engine was also overhauled, and the front seats were retrimmed using original fabric. The headlining was renewed in a different material, retaining the original black colour.

The exhaust tailpipe has been modified to the previous owner's taste. Although not original, it suits the car particularly well and adds a subtle personal touch.
