Very Tidy 1987 Ford Escort XR3i. This ones finished in Mercury Grey has had 5 previous owners and covered 77000 miles. The last owner had it 14 years and its been very well looked after. Its a lovely standard example which runs and drives as it should.
Body - Very good shell. Good solid original battery tray. Very solid underneath. Has had a couple of very minor repairs in the past, one on sill where someone jacked it up and one on the inner sill. Overall a good example. Paintwork still presents really well with no major dings or dents. Boot floor is good. Still has PDI stickers on boot floor. No discolouration on sunroof. Couple of very minor markes, pin bubbles on rear arch lips, but these are very minor
Mechanics - Starts and runs very well. Very quiet engine. Good brakes and clutch. Car has been well maintained. In recent years its had track rod ends, brake cylinder, oil and filter, timing belt was changed at 76000 Miles. Car is on 77 now.
Interior - All standard and in very good order. Seats are very good with no rips or tears. Good door cards, headlining and carpet. No cracks in dash
Wheels - Refurbished Original Alloys with good Pirelli P6000 tyres.
