Description
These super-rare Italian Innocenti 'C' Coupes were designed at GHIA and manufactured by OSI between 1967 and 1969. Less than 700 were produced.
Penned by Sergio Sartorelli at Ghia as a follow-on development and extension of the Tom Tjaarda-designed Innocenti Spider, this very early example ('67) came into the UK in 2005 and is in fabulous condition, both mechanically and bodywise.
It's hard to believe that these chic cars were based on the Austin Healey Sprite platform. They share much of the Sprite's mechanicals (engine/ gearbox/ steering/ suspension etc) and are therefore very easy to maintain in First-Class condition.
It has appeared in many magazines and books [inc. Classic Cars, Auto-Italia, MG Enthusiast, Austin Healey - The Bulldog Breed (Jon Pressnell)].
The car is well-known car on the Italian Classic Car show circuit.
It's estimated that less than 40 of these Coupes survive worldwide. This is one of only three in the UK and is the only one for sale (the other two cars - a red one and a green example - found new owners in the last few months).
Includes two sets of wheels and tyres (original steels and genuine 7 x 15 Minilites).
Exceptional cosseted and cherished condition.
