One of the very first Innocenti 1300 Exports from 1973! A genuine French Export, born in that period when Innocenti did more than just assemble a Mini under licence: it gave it its own elegance, presentation and personality.
The 1300 Export, introduced in 1973, was already top of the line: a more refined Mini, better equipped, with that very particular Italian charm. And ours goes even further. Honestly, it’s probably the most beautiful Innocenti we’ve seen in nearly fifteen years in the trade.
Its history helps a lot. The first owner kept it until 2008, before it stayed in the family. Today it is officially on its third owner, but in spirit it has always had a very short, very intimate, very legible life.
Before arriving with us, it was a true barn find. In 2022, we gave her what she deserved: a complete, serious, thorough recommissioning, with a proper overhaul, before she went straight back into good hands.
What strikes you, beyond the lines and the colour, is its condition. The upholstery is like new. In 2022, the protective plastics were still on the rear bench.
That kind of detail tells you more about a car than any speech.
Some cars are beautiful.
Those ones, on top of that, have a soul.
