Exterior in better than average condition. Please read on though.
The car was in very good condition, but it was involved in a low speed bump. It was parked outside my house and someone reversed into it. They hit it so slow, they didn't realise and kept going right down the side, slightly damaging the front wing and both doors. Also, the odometer stopped working when it was bumped, I think a bezel has been knocked. The speedometer still works. Both doors still work. The rear will pop out. The front door and wing are repairable, but need more work. It may be easier to replace them, but you lose originality. I was paid 'Cash in lieu of repair' and as such, it isn't on the insurance register, I have confirmation of this from the insurers. You're more than welcome to run checks. I will assist with any documentation you need.
The MOT ran out whilst I was waiting for the insurance to be sorted out. If it hadn't been bumped I would've done what was needed and just carried on using it. As it's been bumped, I've fell out of love and decided to sell it. Based on that, I repaired the exhaust instead of replacing it. The odometer has stopped working, due to the bump, I think a bezel has moved. The speedometer still works.
If I was keeping it, what would I do?
Sort the panels out.
Fit a new exhaust.
Fix the odometer.
The gear change feels a bit sloppy, so I'd replace the linkage. This isn't necessary, but an improvement.
To recap. A perfectly usable car, with panel damage. Use it as it is or fix the bodywork and restore to its former glory.
