Bodyshell in excellent original condition. Transport to UK available.
Ford Escort MK1 1. 1 with 2. 0 Pinto engine.
The car is completely standard apart from the engine. The bodyshell is in very good, original condition, with no rust and no signs of previous welding’s. Floor pans, inner wheel arches, turrets, etc are all original and perfect. Bodyshell’s like this are so difficult to find.
Paint is very old and the car needs a re-spray.
Interior is in very good condition and completely standard.
A Pinto 2. 0 engine has just been fitted. Unknown spec but has a pair of Weber 40 DCOE and a 4-1 exhaust manifold. A new timing belt, fluids, etc has been fitted when the engine was installed in the car. Other than that, mechanically is totally standard (1. 1 version).
Having such a good bodyshell and a 2. 0 Pinto engine this represents a fantastic base car to take it to the level you want. The car runs and drives but obviously would need brakes and suspension upgrades to cope with the extra power.
