Description

This TR250 was built in april 1968 and delivered to its first owner in shiny Triumph Racing Green (Conifer Green). Judging on the stickers on the dashboard and the drilled holes for an anti-roll bar, the car was used in sports car events in the late 1960's and early 1970's. It received a custom two-tone paint job at some point in its life. According to the Pennsylvania inspection sticker the car has been off the road since 1983. The last title was issued in 1986. We  discovered this rare Triumph in a barn in Pennsylvania, together with a TR4A that we also have for sale. The TR250 sat on a concrete floor, unlike the TR4A, which is a lot rustier.

Without a doubt, this car is going to need a lot of attention. Both body and chassis need structural repair work, but the car is good enough to be restored. Please look at the pictures and videos on our web site for a realistic impression of what needs to be done.

The engine is seized. Manual 4 speed transmission. 81. 547 mls on the odometer.

The interior is complete but needs a full renovation. Convertible top frame missing. Other parts missing include the bumpers, spare wheel and grille.

This Triumph can be inspected on appointment in our shop in Sint Anthonis, the Netherlands. It comes with a US title (New York) and EU import documents (duties paid). Delivery throughout Europe can be arranged at extra costs.

Price: € 9. 800
