EXTERIOR
The Alpine White exterior paint is in beautiful condition on this car. Immediately one can tell that this has been a cherished car throughout its lifetime. The car still has a beautiful shine to the lacquer and the paintwork still has a lovely depth of shine. The chrome on the car is as close to new as possible and has not turned milky as many examples have done so. There is no rust, blemishes or scratches and is in wonderful condition for the age. Likewise, all light lenses and trim retain a fresh appearance. The blue hood has recently been replaced and is therefore like new.
INTERIOR
The blue checked cloth is still in great condition, with minimal wear to be found. The carpet, trim, switches are all free of wear and have aged very well. The interior is in beautiful original condition and only suffers the slightest of wear from the sunlight. The seat bolsters are in equally as good and are free from any scuffs or sagging. The dashboard and centre console are also in equally fine condition, with no cracks or sun damage to be found. –A common weakness on E30s.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This E30 is powered by the legendary BMW 2. 5-litre six-cylinder unit, mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. This results in a silky-smooth drivetrain and this car is no exception. It performs perfectly and the car drives beautifully. Cruising around with the roof down makes this car a completely different experience, making full opportunity to listen to the throaty straight-six. The engine bay is wonderfully original, still wearing the original factory wax coating, this has resulted in an engine bay with a fresh appearance throughout.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The 15-inch BBS cross-spoke alloy wheels are in wonderful condition and are shod in a matching set of Avon tyres, all with good tread.
HISTORY
This E30 325i Cabriolet was first registered in November 1989 and has a complete history. The car comes with the original service book that is all stamped up and a folder full of various receipts and invoices over the years. This car has therefore been maintained properly and this is evident in person. This car is ready to be enjoyed on our roads. There is the original handbooks and service manual with the car. E30s of this condition, mileage and originality are getting scarce.
