What a lovely car and defiantly one of our favorites so far this year!! This take on the Ford Mustang from Mercury (based on the 68 Hardtop Coupe Mustang) is an especially good example of the marque, finished in stunning metallic green with black bucket seats and interior. Fitted with factory chrome and black wheels and BFGoodrich tyres.
First registered in 1968 and fitted with Fords 302 V8 and 3-speed Quick-Shift automatic gearbox. The 302 has a mild cam and combined with the rapid change transmission is a total gem to drive and the exhaust note from the dual system makes you want to keep on going!
Featured in the May 2016 issue of Classic American and centre spread in Cougar Club of America April 2017. And won second place in Rally of the Giants in 2012.
The body is arrow-straight however there is some bubbling to some small areas of the paint but we are told by the last owner it has not got any worse since his purchase of the car in 2010. Overall the paintwork is beautiful with a super smooth highly waxed finish and the interior is excellent and this particular fairly rare classic muscle car is a complete joy to drive.
Will come with a new MOT and 6-months nation-wide warranty.
