For sale: Bedford CA Debonair 1968, this has had several periods of restoration and refurbishment, more recently the camper section in the rear has been completely stripped and the floor removed, leaving a blank canvas for a new conversion. The chassis has been painted and reinforced and in recent years had a more thorough restoration. During its previous restoration the radiator and side panels have been welded which Im told is a common issue with these. The bodywork is all made of fibreglass and in very good condition, having been repaired and resprayed by its previous owner.
Machanically it runs and drives very well, and was driven 200 miles to its current location without any hiccups. Starts on the key. It has a 4 speed manual column change.
Interior is in great condition so really just needs a full camper conversion to bring it back to useable condition.
Comes with three spare doors, the original wheel arches, spare wheel, spare plastic window panels, spare seat, and others etc.
No MOT, but this is tax exempt due to year.
Only 2 owners from new and has been well looked after by the looks of it, a board with photos showing before and after shots of the previous restoration is included.
Van is located in St Davids West Wales, Pembrokeshire and viewing is recommended.
Has been dry stored for the past year in an industrial unit.
