EXTERIOR
The Brilliant Black paintwork accentuates the more muscular stance this GTi possesses and presents in showroom condition. There are very few blemishes to be found anywhere on the car and all the panels line up perfectly, consistant with the incredibly low mileage and care this car has had throughout its life. Other details such as the lights, grilles and badges around the car are also in ‘as new’ condition.
INTERIOR
Slipping into the driver’s seat of the GTi the first thing you notice is a slightly more refined feel to the interior with a digital dash display, electric windows and the use of materials such as leather and alcantara to the seats. All electrics work as intended and the centre console presents free from any signs of wear to the switches. The luxurious seats show to be in fantastic condition with no fraying or wear to any of the susceptible bolsters and they remain plump and supportive.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This GTi has benefitted from consistent servicing throughout its low mileage life and presents in perfect mechanical health. This high revving engine oozes character when combined with the sporty chassis. The 5 speed manual gearshift mechanism is incredibly tight and precise showing no sign of wear making this little hot hatch an engaging and spirited drive.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The 14 inch Raptor alloys are all unmarked and free from any imperfections and are wrapped in a set of brand new Continental ContiPremiumContact 2′s.
HISTORY FILE
This superb Peugeot was first registered on 7th December 2001 and sold by Brundle Sport Limited to the first owner. The first service inspection was carried out by the supplying dealer in February 2003 at 3000 miles. Since 2003 the car has been maintained by the same independent garage and serviced regularly throughout its low mileage at the following intervals: 3k, 6k, 7k, 11k and 19k.
The car still comes with the original Peugeot document holder containing all of the owner’s manuals including the service booklet and a set of spare keys.
