EXTERIOR
The paintwork is in beautiful condition on this MG Metro Turbo, as one would expect for a mileage of only 17, 000. The whole car looks extremely fresh and vibrant and the paint shines beautifully and this car is free from rust. It is evident that this example has been looked after, with the paintwork having a lovely depth of shine and the red paint looking fresh with no fading or sun damage. There is no rust, blemishes or scratches. Likewise, all light lenses and trim retain a fresh appearance.
INTERIOR
The Silver-Grey cloth is in as-new condition. The carpet, trim, switches are all free of wear and are as close to new as possible. The interior is in beautiful factory, original condition, with the seats being completely unworn and still retain a lovely lustre. The seat bolsters are one again just as great and are as-new as you would expect, with no scuffs or sagging. The dashboard and centre console are also in equally fine condition, with no cracks or sun damage to be found. The red carpets do not suffer from any wear and are unworn throughout, they are also still beautifully bright and do not suffer from sun damage.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This MG is powered by a 1. 3-litre unit, mated to a four-speed manual gearbox and performs as it should. The car idles beautifully and drives like new, with the turbo working seamlessly with the rest of the drivetrain. The engine bay is completely original throughout and has been given a clean and detail. This now results in an engine bay with a fresh appearance throughout.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The 13-inch alloy wheels are in wonderful condition, and are shod in a matching set of Dunlop tyres all-round with good tread.
HISTORY
This MG Metro Turbo was first registered in August 1989 and comes with old MOTs, various invoices, owner’s handbooks and spare keys. This is now only 1 of 24 cars licenced in the UK and is ready to be enjoyed on our roads.
