For sale is my standard & original Bianca White 1. 6 8v Peugeot 106 S2 Rallye. I bought the car a year ago and have completed a light mechanical restoration on it over the past year consisting of:
• Headskim, wash & new valve stem seal fit (by T&L Engineering, Wilstead)
• New Elring head bolt set
• New Elring head gasket kit
• New genuine Peugeot timing belt kit
• New Bosch air filter
• New Bosch oil filter
• New Bosch cabin filter
• New Ignition leads
• New Bosch spark plugs
• New Mobil Super 3000 X1 5w40 oil
• New TRIPLE QX antifreeze
• New Circoli waterpump
• New Thermostat
• Refurbished rear axle/ beam (supplied & fitted by AB Axles)
• New steering rack boot
• New Firstline anti roll bar drop links
• Almost new set of 2nd hand wheels with good tyres
• New dipstick
• Exhaust joints separated, reground & refitted (only thing it needed for MOT)
• New Bosch fuel filter (supplied but not yet fitted)
When I bought the car it was smoking fairly heavily, I rebuilt the head hoping the issue was due to failed valve stem seals. Thankfully it was and in the last 5k miles it hasn’t required a single top up. It now runs smooth and strong all the way to redline with no smoking. The gearbox, suspension, steering and brakes are all fault free.
The bodywork is good, all the paint is the same colour and it polishes up really well. Some of the original stickers are worn and there are a few marks, the worst being a scuff on the rear bumper but overall the car looks great for the age.
The interior fabrics, plastics and carpet are all in fantastic condition and the seats are all still fairly supportive.
Car comes with two sets of keys, loads of service history, loads of receipts (including for all the stuff listed above), original handbooks, Peugeot wallet, service book with stamps, V5, etc.
