"The Audi RS2 were developed jointly with Porsche and assembled by this one, at their factory in Zuffenhausen, where the Mercedes 500E and the legendary Porsche 959 had already originated. The RS initials (RennSport), inaugurated a new concept of limited edition cars with four-wheel drive (Quattro), using the most advanced technology and capable of the highest performances, while maintaining the characteristics of family cars. Although they weighed more than 1600 kg, they were capable of reaching 100 km/ h in 4. 8 seconds and had a maximum speed well above 260 km/ h."
