Description
I am reluctantly selling my 2002 Audi TT mk1 roadster due to purchasing another car and I need the space.
The car is in close to showroom condition, finished in a rare sprint blue colour which is an original release colour with a cloth hood which is immaculate with no rips or tears and is fully functioning and comes with a rare perfect condition torneau cover. The factory fitted glass wind deflector is in perfect working condition with no marks or scratches on it. The rear window in the soft top is glass and has an operational heated rear screen.
The car is being sold with the private number plate as shown valued at £800. The car was purchased from a collector who had this car as part of his collection and purchased the car previously from a prestigious 911 specialist dealer known widely in the automotive industry (still has the matching number plates fitted from the dealership).
The bodywork is immaculate with no dents or rust, the sills and underside has been treated with dinitrol to protect it. All the wheels are in fantastic condition having been refurbished before obtaining the vehicle along with new brakes and matching tyres.
Being a 2002 model it comes with the factory fitted body coloured rear spoiler and is lowered from the factory giving it a nice stance and greater handling abilities.
The car comes with a bespoke soft indoor car cover finished in blue with a carry bag which has been used while the car is off the road during the winter months. The car is only used during the dry summer months, not taken out in the rain and dry stored in the winter to maintain its current close to show room condition.
The engine bay is as you would expect with a low mileage car, in original immaculate condition with annual servicing carried out regardless of the mileage, boasting a full service history. The timing belt and water pump has been recently changed and both have been changed a number of times over the cars life time including regular haldex servicing to ensure it continues to operate as it should.
I have two keys, a host of receipts, old MOT’s and the current MOT which is advisory free until June 2027. I have the original Audi books with the Audi fabric wallet and some old tax discs from the previous owners.
The boot is perfect and comes with the tools and spare wheel recessed in the boot floor and comes with the original Audi first aid kit.
The interior is in mint condition, the seats are heated with grey alcantara seat centres and grey leather side bolsters. The car comes with the original grey Audi matching floor mats that compliment the carpet perfectly. Everything works and as you would expect for such a low mileage car including operational air con and the seats are both spotless. A common fault with the TT’s is the pixelated dashboard instrument binnacle which has been refurbished last year so this also works perfectly and comes with the receipt. It comes with the original Audi radio fitted and a factory fitted 6 disc auto changer.
The car drives lovely, it pulls really well and the turbo kicks in really well when you put your foot down, there’s no knocks or rattles or anything from the suspension and drives as you would expect for a low mileage car which has been cherished during its life time.
I bought the car as I always wanted one and now had the spare cash and space to buy a nice example to enjoy in the summer. I was drawn to the car because of its exceptionally low mileage and fantastic condition. In the summer months when the sun is shining and the roof is down the blue paint work with contrasting grey interior looks fantastic!
