Description
A smashing MGB in the ever-popular tartan red with black interior. The car was built in October 1970 and first supplied to Henlys of Salisbury. It was dry stored from 2006-2016, having been previously extensively restored. The car has recently been re-commissioned and put back on the road and has a current MOT running to February 2018. We think the car was in the same ownership from 1995 to 2016. The bodywork is excellent, including the structure which was obviously attended to during its restoration. The sills, castle sections, jacking points, wing re-enforcers, wings and seams are all good. The paintwork is also good with just one or two blemishes but nothing to worry about unless you are overly fussy. The interior appears to be original and is in generally good order. The carpets have been renewed at some stage. The car starts easily and runs well with good oil pressure, no overheating and nice smooth overdrive. The underneath is clean and tidy and well protected. Come with V5C, Heritage Certificate and some history.
