Exterior Features
The exterior of this Mercedes SL is in fantastic condition and the paintwork is practically blemish free. The wheels have been upgraded to 19" AMG 5-spoke alloys, all four of which have very good tyres. There is also a hard top roof which is an expensive option and great addition to these SL models. There is a private plate also included with the car 'BNZ 1749'.
Interior Features
Inside the vehicle, the seats are black leather and the dashboard has a wooden trim. There are many optional features including remote central locking, centre arm rest, electric windows, electric adjustable seats and even cruise control . The condition of the interior is very good and the seats and carpets are not worn.
Service History
The Mercedes has evidence of maintenance carried out over the past 27 years. The original service book is also present with many Mercedes specialist stamps. In recent years, there are service receipts present as well as receipts for many new parts. There are MOT Certificates back to 1991 and the spare remote central locking key is still in its original packaging.

The R129 SL is a stunning convertible which is a pleasure to take out on the road rain or shine. The automatic transmission is smooth and the fuel consumption is very reasonable for a 3 litre engine. This is a classic and stylish Mercedes icon which was made with such quality that it is just as enjoyable to drive now as it was when new!
** PRICE REDUCTION** We have reduced the price of this Mercedes SL as there is an electrical fault with the convertible roof. It will still operate manually and the hard top included will still pop off with the switch but the roof only gets to a certain point electronically. We have had the roof ECU professionally tested and have had confirmation that it has no faults which is documented. The Mercedes specialists have advised that they think it is a switch as they have tested every other component and it is all working as it should. The normal warranty we provide applies to the vehicle with the exception of this issue.
