The first owner had it until 2013 when the second owner bought it and had it for a year before being sold to a neighbour who has had it until now. The e39 is arguably the best built and designed BMW ever made. The quality of the interior has not been bettered and of course there's that lovely 170bhp 2. 5l straight six engine, which although not as powerful as the larger six's
and eights suits the cars cruising image with its small by today's standard continental 225/ 50/ 15 tyres. This gives the car extremely good ride quality especially on today's pot holed roads. I recently took my family to Aviemore in this car and
it was a lovely relaxing car to drive on a long run and returned 32mpg on the way there.
