High-performance version of the XJ40 Sovereign, developed by JaguarSport and TWR (Tom Walkinshaw Racing), at the same assembly line as the «legendary» XJ220.
The aesthetic differences with regard to the other XJ40s are the exclusive «body kit», black front grille with JaguarSport logo, Speedline alloy wheels with the same design as the XJ220, JaguarSport instrument cluster, MOMO steering wheel and JaguarSport logo headrests.
Technically, the XJR Sport was fitted with Bilstein sports suspension, limited slip differential and a 4-liter in-line six AJ6 engine, delivering 250 bhp thanks to electronics and complete exhausts developed by TWR (Tom Walkinshaw Racing).
This rare LHD XJR Sport is one of the few equipped with 5-speed manual gearbox Getrag 290.
