Lot 21
A 1953 Land Rover Series I SWB canvas tilt, registration number OYD 232, chassis number 36101650, blue. This Series I is believed to have been in service with the Somerset Fire Brigade. The Land Rover was purchased by our vendor in 1995 having had four previous recorded keepers. The vendor has restored the Land Rover with numerous receipts on file for works amongst others including a new bulk head and body repairs, respray, new wiring loom, reconditioned gearbox and transfer box, new fuel pump, canvas tilt, powder coated wheels and new tyres, new front bumper, re-upholstered seat backs and numerous other items. There is a history file containing the receipts for work carried out for the vendor, previous maintenance receipts, MOTs and sundry paperwork. V5C, MOT and tax exempt
