Descrizione
The AJS Model 31 was produced between 1958 until AMC’s demise in 1966. The model was produced alongside the identical Matchless G12 and produced 35bhp allowing a 100mph top speed. Although they were as fast and as well built (some say better) as offerings from BSA and Triumph, they never quite achieved the same level of desirability – which has made them something of a bargain today.
This bike is a 1962 Model 31, an older restoration in beautiful condition. The chrome and paintwork are in excellent order, it runs and rides beautifully and is a first kick starter. It is fitted with electronic ignition and an anti-wet-sump valve.
Matching numbers and original, transferable registration number. Ready to ride and enjoy, without faults.
MOT until March 2018. Please call if more detail is required.
