Triumph Vitesse – Superb Matching Numbers Car
The Triumph Herald was launched in 1959 and, like the Spitfire, was designed by Giovanni Michelotti. The Vitesse was introduced in May 1962 and the Mk2 followed in 1968 featuring an enlarged 1998cc engine giving sub twelve second 0 to 60mph performance and a top speed in excess of 100mph.
Our 2ltr Convertible is a genuine CV model that is a real credit to the last keeper who bought and recommissioned the car over a four year period. The history file contains invoices in excess of £6, 000 since 2013 including a reconditioned differential, cylinder head rebuild, radiator, all ignition components, control box, tyres, engine bay detailing, interior seat covers, carpets, seatbelts, blue mohair hood and replica minilite wheels with polished rims.
On the road the car drives superbly with the straight six sound track, lovely gearbox, sharp handling, four seats and sports car performance making this the ideal choice for the classic car enthusiast with a young family
Undervalued for years Triumph Vitesse prices have risen sharply in recent years and we expect this absolutely stunning example to find an appreciative new home quickly.
