This stunning, sharp Jaguar XK8 has covered 83000 miles from new and has been subject of £10, 000 of mechanical expenditure with a York prestige car specialist between 2015-2017. The XK was supplied new on the 3rd September 1999 by Caffyns Plc in East Sussex.
The supplying dealer carried out the first two services in 2000 and 2001, the second being recorded at 15438 miles. Weybridge Automobiles serviced the Jaguar at 19909 and other specialists took the car on at 23484, 27056, 33117, 40548, 52628, 61728 and 71233 miles. Philip Welch specialist cars have looked after the Jaguar since 2015 with services at 78866 and 82880 and they spent £10, 000 ensuring the car was sold by them in the best possible condition.
Work carried out included fitting a brand new re-conditioned engine to the XK8, shock absorber bushes, front subframe mounting, front anti roll bar mounting, water pump, rebuilding front and rear brakes, gearbox service and new sump seal, re-conditioned ABS unit, new crankshaft sensor, new micro switch, new coolant seals and hoses and various new tensioners, seals, chains and belts. The XK8 is mechanically exceptional and has driven to us from Masham, North Yorkshire perfectly. The car presents beautifully with excellent sharp bodywork with stunning paintwork, excellent wheels, tyres and a gorgeous original interior. The electric hood works perfectly and the car is outstanding to drive. There are not many that look this good and have had the level of expenditure and diligent preparation.
