EXTERIOR
The Midnight Purple Metallic exterior paint is in wonderful condition throughout on this R33 GTR. The car has a factory fresh depth of shine and still retains a beautiful gloss to the lacquer. There is no rust, blemishes or scratches. All light lenses and trim retain a fresh appearance. The factory glass is present all around the vehicle with the Nissan etchings on all of the windows.
INTERIOR
The Black Cloth is in lovely original condition throughout, with minimal wear to be found. The seats support you wonderfully when behind the wheel and this makes being in the car a pleasurable experience at all times. The carpet, trim, switches are in great condition. The dashboard and centre console are also in equally fine condition, with no cracks or sun damage to be found. The interior features a Sony headunit with a 10 CD changer, Direct power amplifier, Infinity speakers front and rear, Snooper active radar detector and a Geodisy passive radar location detector.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This R33 GTR is powered by Nissan’s 2. 6-litre unit, mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. It performs perfectly and the car drives beautifully. The engine bay is completely original and is in lovely order. The top strut mounts are completely rust free which is a common problematic area on the R33. The car has been tuned and this has been carried out by the well-respected Japanese tuner Sak Nana at Option Motorsport, Silverstone. In addition, the following performance modifications have been carried out: HKS polished induction kit, polished twin turbo pipe, Apexi down pipes, Apexi NI cat back exhaust and decat pipe, Nismo silver twin plate clutch, HKS intercooler type-s HKSIS, HKS EVC5 boost controller, HKS turbo timer and Option ECU developing approximately 430-440 BHP.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The 18-inch centre spoke interspeed alloy wheels are in beautiful condition and are shod in a set of Continental tyres all with good tread. In addition, this example features EBC green rear pads, Goodridge braided steel brake pipes, Dot 5. 1 spec brake fluid and new Tein adjustable shocks.
HISTORY
This R33 GTR was first registered in 1995 and was imported into the UK in February 2003 and has had only 1 owner since 29th September 2003. The car comes with various receipts and expenditure from over the years. A history file is present, featuring previous MOTs. This example also features a GTR number plate that is to be sold with the car. This car has therefore been maintained properly and is ready to be enjoyed on our roads.
