Welcome to Street Dreams in Texas as we celebrate our 18th year in the classic and muscle car business. Here's yet another gem from The Texas Hill Country's premier classic and muscle car dealership. We occasionally procure a vehicle that either with charm power or rarity manages to enchant us all. This lovely 1940 Buick Model 46 Business Coupe is just that kind of car. Buick forged their reputation with I8 engines and this pre-war classic has a sweet one. Beneath the beautifully crafted double-hinged hood lies the original OHV 248 ci I8 engine with its seemingly endless supply of torque. Buick's new motto became Valve in Head-Ahead in Value thanks to this advanced design which Buick's competitors could not match until well after the war. This excellent engine is backed by the original 3-speed manual transmission. This car is not show-perfect with items like the cracked steering wheel needing attention, but the correct Bandelier Blue paint and Tan Bedford Cord interior will look nice on cruise night.
