Few cars ever had the raw appeal of the 70 Challenger, and this one looks absolutely fantastic.
One of only 1066 genuine Western Sport Specials built in 1970 (the only year for W. S. S option) this lovely example has enjoyed a very easy life that shows throughout,
With optional power steering, it performs nicely and is very user friendly.
Imported to Finland from California in 1998.
Between 1999-2000 it had a slight refurbishment.
Minor body corrosion damage repaired.
Full respray.
Vinyl roof and inner roof lining renewed.
Front seats re-upholstered.
dashboard repaired.
Floor mats renewed.
Rear seat and all the side trim is original.
Chassis and underneath is original and never welded, small weld patch to be found in the boot area.
In 2006 the original 318 Engine was changed for a refurbished bigger 360 (1976), little bit aspirated with inlet manifold, carburetor, exhaust manifold and twin exhausts.
Gearbox and diff were also refurbished.
Front disc brakes, none power.
Power steering.
Air conditioning, works.
