Description
This 1978 MGB roadster has aged well in the dry states of Texas and Arizona. Having only covered 53. 581 mls so far, this is well-preserved driver quality roadster that benefited from a recent extensive service update.
The body of this red MG is very straight and solid, with all original body panels and sills. One professional older respray over its original white colour. The red paint has a nice shine, and still looks very presentable. A couple of touch ups and minor imperfections, all pictured in detail. The factory white paint is only visible under the dashboard and in the trunk area. The inside of the bonnet is finished in black, while the engine bay is nicely detailed in red.
We have recently completed major service work on this MGB in our workshop. A lot of new parts were used to turn it into a reliable driver: new clutch, complete exhaust system, ignition coil, wires, spark plugs, all fluids, radiator. Weber carburetor with corresponding inlet manifold.
The interior is in good original condition. Factory carpets, with new floor mats. The dashboard has been repaired with a top cover. Seats and soft top are in good condition. Missing the rear vinyl side panels behind the seats. 2 chips in the windscreen. No convertible top cover or tonneau cover.
It has a US title (Texas) and EU import documents. All import duties have been paid for.
