GTI in rare condition. The car has through the last 4 years gone through a thorough renovation since it was bought by the current owner.
At purchase, the car was newly painted in a red/ bordeaux color (not original Peugeot). Paint is still in perfect condition.
The engine has been replaced by the same engine the car originally came with although this has done 120. 000 less km than the car.
Most parts of the driveline, as well as suspension, has been renovated or updated with OEM parts as far as possible. Damper and shocks are Peugeot Sport parts.
The rear subframe has been completely renovated as this is a typical failing on GTI. The engine has had its head flowed and the gasket replaced a few years back. Aprox. 135hp. Cams has been mildly upgraded. All engine work has been done at a Peugeot Classic renowned shop in Denmark.
The steering rack has been replaced with a PAS part (without assistance though) to gain a better turn in. The gearshift is renovated and a simple short shift installed. New original shifter. The interior has also been renovated and replaced by on original leather cabin. The condition is mint the age taken into account.
All fluids and filters has been replaced on a yearly basis with a max of 6. 000 km each time.
Extra sound deadening has been added under the carpet to give a more refined driving experience. Carpets has been cleaned thoroughly in the process reviving the original color.
A Becker radio (with simple navigation) has been installed with a nod to the most exclusive cars in the 90'ies.
It has also had undersealing, protecting the delicate car as good as possible.
