Peugeot 306 2. 0i Cabriolet - Dimma prototype. Number 1 of only 2 ever built.
This is as rare as they come - Not a fibreglass kit!!
The term ‘future classic’ is often over used. But this is the real deal. Now 21 years old since this Dimma prototype was built. With only 24k miles from new showing, with documents to prove. All the specific details are available on the internet. To summarise, there were 2 brand new 306 cabriolets sent to Dimma Design. They, like other design houses, weaved their magic, on just about everything, including steel body modifications, steering, suspension, 2 litre 16v engine with high horsepower, Full custom one off two tone leather interior, 6 speed manual gearbox, etc etc. This was then sent to a Peugeot dealer in Leeds at a price in the 20 thousands. As mentioned previously, this ultimate rare prototype was number 1 of 2 ever built! The other one (number 2) was unfortunately involved in an accident, thus making this car the only one currently on the road and now up for sale. One of the definitions of a classic car is for it to be iconic of its time and rare. Say no more!!!
In addition to all the above, this unique car shows as having only done 24k miles, and is presented in ‘show standard’. Very clean and original under the bonnet and underneath. The interior is immaculate. The Dimma wheel option was 5 spoke Compo motive alloys, and these are also immaculate.
