Description
As the last of the immortal 'T' Series MG's, the TF has always had a special
place in the hearts of MG enthusiasts. With a production run of just 9600,
the TF has always been highly sought after.
This 1954 example, finished in Reno Red with tan leather trim, has been in
the present ownership for more than 30 years and has covered less than 3000
miles since a 'last nut and bolt' restoration was carried out, this being
substantiated by numerous photographs on file.
An original RHD model, it was exported to the USA and resided in Texas until being acquired by the present owner. Being in essentially original condition and with a totally sound body tub, it was seen to be an ideal candidate for restoration.
Sitting on chrome wire wheels, this MG is of most appealing appearance and beautifully presented. It drives particularly well and feels taut, lively and very responsive.
Full weather equipment, including a tonneau cover, is supplied. Documents on file include the aforementioned photo album, plus many bills , etc along with a Heritage Certificate, Workshop Manual and summary of work carried out during the restoration.
