A bright MGB Roadster opportunity in need of some love
This MGB has been lovingly known as TED and was featured on the BBC TV no less! in an episode of Preston Front in fact it comes with a DVD of the programme as well as the original sales brochure, and magazine article
The engine is a reconditioned engine with an unleaded head and was supplied by an MG Centre in June 1999 since then the car was previously well looked after - sadly the last owner has let the car sit and slip for over a year outside but all be it under a cover, but the engine still runs well and it has overdrive
The MOT has expired and the car needs a clutch so cannot be driven but the slave cylinder has just been done, the following mechanicals will need attention
D Bush worn
Front wheel bearings
Inner rack arm
Discs corroded
lower arm bushes worn
Coil srrings corroded
Small oatch welding
Wiper blades
The paint is now looking very tied with cracking and small areas of rust but seems superficial, underneath she is surprisngly ok just a couple of small holes to be addressed. the engine bay again is more than reasonable. The interior is fine with now rips or tears
The roof is ok but the window itself is in tact but has poor visibilty
