The VW Kombi or Commercial or Type 2 (Type 1 was the VW Beatle) went in to production in March 1950 as the T1 and was in production in Europe until 1967 nicknamed the Splitscreen or Splittie. Production continued in Brazil until 1975.
We now are able to offer this beautiful VW T1 Bus (the correct name would be Volkswagen 15 window Type 2, T1 Kombi Microbus) for sale. This Bus was manufactured in Brazil in 1970 and imported in to Europe in 2017.
We undertook a comprehensive restoration of the body and the running gear and fitted a two circuit brake system for extra safety
The 1900cc engine was apparently rebuild in 2010 and is strong and starts first time every time.
