BSA C15 249cc with the better G series original engine. 10620 recorded miles which may be genuine. Matching engine and frame numbers. Recently had thorough service and new MOT (expires 21/ 3/ 19) with no advisories. V5C up to date, in my name,, and correct. Old green log book and paperwork showing bike was made between April and August 1966 by BSA in Birmingham. Also an old BSA instruction manual. Bike was originally owned by the Northern Ireland Police and was white. I have no record of when the colour change was made.
This is not a concours bike, it is a lovely old genuine one which has not been messed about and with a lovely throaty “here comes an old British Bike” sound. It starts easily, drives well and goes through the gears fine. The paintwork is jaded in parts but with no rust. The wheels are starting to show a little bit of surface rust. There is a 9mm split in the seat cover on one side.
