The Appeal
The well-known jewel in Oxford's crown, Morris, had built a reputation for producing well-built, usable cars based on conventional and therefore DIY friendly packages during a period that is frequently known as the "Golden age of motoring”. This is inherently the Morris 10/4’s main appeal to this day, as it once served as a roomy and reliable workhorse whose traits have not diminished over this example's 90-year lifetime.
This 1933 Morris 10/4 finished in a very appealing green colourway has benefited from a ground-up restoration in the late 1980s. Believed to have been retained by the owner's son until relatively recently, it saw very little use and has been since obtained by a vintage car collector as part of their collection. Mechanically sound, with a very clean interior and presentable body, the car will benefit from a light mechanical check-over. It has very little in terms of provenance, but it’s not impossible for the new potential owner to carry out their own investigation work. It will come with its V5 registration document.

Summary
This well-restored and solid example would be perfect for those who have a passion for pre-war motoring, with plenty of practicality, space and charm. As one of the earlier examples of the long-running Morris 10 series models, the quality of its restoration has meant the car still presents very positively which bodes well and should be encouraging news for those who are not afraid of a little tinkering here and there.
