The Appeal
This Hard Top left the Dearborn works in 1967 with the lowly 200CI 120hp straight six mill. But, similar to Dorothy, we’re a long way from Michigan now, because this eye-catching lime green car has the performance to match its visual draw in the form of a rebuilt 5L Serpentine V8 engine.
The mechanical transplant was part of a comprehensive restoration and improvement programme that included all-new steering, brakes and fuel system, and fitting a Ford C6 B&M 3spd gearbox. Notable additions include a refurbished rear axle, AVS alloys, new bonnet and boot lid, and a refurbished interior with upgraded front bucket sports seats.
The car presents in very good condition. This is a potent first generation Mustang that stands out from its peers both visually and mechanically.
