There had already been famous little Fiats in the past, but it was the post-war 'New' 500 that redefined the way small cars were designed and drove and, above all, showed just how tiny they could be.
During its long life, the iconic 500 changed very little, only the introduction of the luxury 'L' version slightly improved some details of the interior and exterior. So high was the quality of the original.
An 'F' model from 1970 in the 'L' version, this splendid 500 is finished in a classic combination of dark blue paint and a contrasting red interior. It is in fabulous condition inside and out and pleasingly conforms to factory standards. An original registration document, regular overhauls and a useful ASI certificate suggest what the stickers on the windscreen confirm: this is a much-loved and well-kept example of a classic car full of charm.image00039.jpeg6.19 MB
