The original engine has been modified to 1641cc and fitted with a swathe of performance-focused upgrades, bringing it to levels that Volkswagen would have never dreamed of.

History and Paperwork

  • Enhanced with oil coolers, deep sump, and twin Dellorto performance carbs
  • Equipped with a performance flywheel and clutch
  • Fitted with an electronic fuel pump and electronic ignition
  • Lowered suspension
  • Front disc brakes
  • Engine bay in good order
