Alpina has built its reputation by taking standard BMW models and modifying them to elevate their performance capabilities. Among the most anticipated and well received models is this Alpina D3 Bi-Turbo. With a bespoke, tuned version of the 2.0 litre twin turbodiesel found in the 123d, the Alpina D3 produces 211bhp at 4,100rpm and a more than ample 332lb ft of torque from 2,000-2,500rpm.
Considerable enhancements have been made, courtesy of the twin-turbo, revised suspension, a modified exhaust system, upgraded brakes and of course those 19" Dynamic style Alloys and somewhat understated bodykit. The car is simply a joy to drive and own - supremely comfortable and a quite extraordinary ability to overtake just about anything, thanks to its ‘torquey’ engine.
Cared for like you’d expect it to be, the previous owners of this handsome specimen have ensured a full service history and a few embellishments over the years like heated seats for those cold winter mornings and a few extra splashes of carbon fibre found around the cabin, like on the iDrive control and gear shift.
