The Appeal
“It may be the most refined, luxurious and ‘long-trip’ McLaren ever made - but its DNA is still laced with sports car genes.” Those are the words of Evo in a glowing review of the then-new 570GT.
Built as a more road-focused version of the 570S, the GT is the consummate all-rounder, a car that Evo goes on to say is as cossetting as a Bentley yet as focused as you’d expect from a race-derived McLaren.
This three-keeper 2017 car is attractively finished in Silver Grey with a tasteful chocolate leather cabin. It has covered under 34,000 kms from new and looks barely altered from the day it rolled out of the showroom when new. We’re told that since registration, it has been religiously annually serviced by McLaren, most recently in August 2025. All four tyres were replaced during this last visit with quality Michelin items.
We’re told that the current French technical inspection runs to June 2026 and that there were no advisories on the last test.
The vendor says:
“This car is very pleasant to drive, comfortable for this type of car, and easy to handle.
“This model stands out for its exemplary finish and comfort compared to an S model, while maintaining performance. The combination of grey and black exterior colours is both discreet and elegant, and the leather and carbon interior is both luxurious and comfortable with heated and power-adjustable seats.”

The Mechanics
- M838T twin turbo 3.8L 570bhp engine
- 7spd automatic transmission with usual sequential functionality
- Annually maintained by McLaren dealerships since new
- Last service in August 2025 as above
- Vendor states there were no advisories on the last technical inspection
The joy of the 570GT is that it is both a long-distance cruiser, with a cossetting ride, and an agile B-road bandit, depending on your mood and the road ahead. That is also brutally quick, thanks to its 570bhp 3.8L V8, ensuring it delivers ultimate thrills in either mode.
The key with any supercar purchase is maintenance. This car clearly ticks that box. The vendor tells us that it has been serviced annually by McLaren from new, most recently in August 2025. That trip included four new Michelin tyres.
Further reassurance is provided by the current technical inspection, which runs to June 2026. We’re told that the test in 2024 contained no advisories.
