1960 Austin Healey 3000 MK 1 Vintage Race/ Rally Car. This car was built in the early '90's and only race once. It has just been refreshed after a long dry storage. The car has a nicely built 3 liter six cylinder bored . 030 over with triple 2 inch SU carbs, some extremely rare center lock real magnesium wheels, and a 100-4 folding windscreen. It also has a large Fuel Safe fuel cell with a brand new bladder and sending unit. The brake have just been refreshed, carbs rebuilt, fluids changed, and tuned. The bodywork and paint are in excellent condition. The undercarriage photos show is was fully ground up restored. There is a long list of racing upgrades including: Rudd Speed manifold, lightened flywheel, Mallory distributor, oversize cast alloy oil pan, 4 speed overdrive trans with straight cut gears, Koni shocks, oil cooler, racing cam, and rear traction bars. The car is currently street legal with Illinois title. This is an excellent car to put back on the street or bring up to current requirements and go to the track.
