1978 MGB Roadster Manual / Overdrive. Blaze with red leather upholstery and black soft top. Replacing the MGA in 1962, production of the MGB and its variants continued until 1980. Sales for the MGB, MGC and MGB GT V8 combined totaled 523, 836 cars. After a 12-year hiatus, the MGB re-entered production as the heavily modified MG RV8 with a limited run of 2, 000 cars before finally being replaced in 1995 by the MGF. This 70's rubber bumper car has been well cared for over the years and has had some upgrades to enhance the car to include full leather upholstery and Minilite knock on alloy wheels. The MGB was subject to a restoration in 1999 with photographs on file and was then refreshed in 2015 with a large amount of invoices in the history folder which also contains a large amount of old mot certificates and log book copies from the DVLA listing previous owners. Driving well with the 1798cc B Series pulling well and the overdrive gearbox operating correctly an MGB is an ideal starter classic.
