This has just landed with us - a specular looking, sounding and driving Shelby GT350 Tribute.
This car started life as a 1965 factory C Code V8 with automatic transmission. To give it the Shelby look, the car has subsequently had fitted a GT350 bonnet scoop and Shelby style paint job and more. The gloss white paint and metallic Shelby Blue stripes have been done to a very good standard. All of the trim and chrome is also in great condition.
This Mustang sits on new 15” American Racing Torq Thurst wheels with new tyres fitted earlier this year. It has front disc brakes (with brake servo) fitted which do a proper job of stopping the car.
The 289ci V8 engine has an Edelbrock performance intake manifold, a Holley 600CFM Street Warrior 4bbl double pumper carburettor, an Edelbrock air cleaner and Cobra rocker covers. This car has had a recent gearbox rebuild and a new exhaust system comprising of long tube headers and a full stainless dual system. It sounds the business! It is a perfectly street-able car, set up for cruising and using. There is also an electronic fan fitted to further improve the usability of the car.
This is the second time in 7 years that the most recent owner of this car has owned it. It has proven to be a reliable and usable car throughout this period and has been very well maintained and cared for too. The car is fully UK registered and is correctly registered as Historic with an age appropriate plate too.
In summary, this iconic looking Fastback Mustang is in very nice condition throughout and is a great driver. It will make for a great regular user or occasional driver and is up on its feet and ready to go. A great example of a driver quality car.
