1967 Triumph Bonneville T120R

Highlights

  • One owner since 1980
  • Imported and first registered in the UK in April 1986
  • Engine rebuilt around 1,200 miles ago
  • Finished in original 1967 colour scheme: Aubergine over Alaskan White

The Appeal

The Bonneville T120R was the last production motorcycle by Triumph's legendary Edward Turner - with classic British styling and a 649cc Parallel Twin powerplant, it was practically purpose-built for an American audience, and it proved its worth the moment it rolled out of Meriden. Marketed as "The Best Motorcycle in the World", it was a claim that few riders challenged.
This 1967 example is an ex-American example, that first hit British soil in 1986.  Still carrying its original livery of Aubergine over Alaskan White, and with a recent rebuild under its belt, this beautifully cared-for mount is a superb prospect, and will no doubt capture plenty of admiring glances out on the open road.
