The Appeal

It's often said that the Sunbeam S7s were just about the world's most over-engineered motorcycle. Rock solid, loaded with innovation and carrying an engine assembly that was close to those fitted to a motor car than a bike, these remarkable pieces of kit have become highly prized - but did have trouble on the market. Innovation wasn't cheap.

That means that the S7 is immensely prized by the modern market. They were, after all, like no other mount from the era, and continue to act as a gold standard for mid-century biking.
What makes this motorcycle truly special is its comprehensive nut and bolt restoration, with many new parts sourced from Stewart Engineering and an impressive history file accompanying it. The results speak for themselves - this remarkable bike won First in Class at the 2024 Fraserburgh Vintage Car Rally, and is now ready and waiting for its new owner.
