The Appeal
Dare we say it? The MGB GT may well be the best of its lineage. The car's continental-style fastback perfectly accented its extent handsome lines, and it's become celebrated as one of the most handsome silhouettes that Pininfarina has ever put together. While it's largely the same car mechanically, the GT was about 5mph faster thanks to its improved dynamics, and the suspension was modified to facilitate the added weight of the roof. Altogether, it's a deeply handsome fastback, and one that naturally picks up consistent interest from enthusiasts.
This particular 1966 example is one of the early and highly desirable chrome-bumper cars, predating the sometimes controversial styling upgrades later in the model's life. This handsome example has been in long-term family ownership of 22 years, during which time it has been well maintained and carefully stored. The result is a very, very handsome classic that's ready and waiting for its lucky new owner.
