The Appeal
Back in the '60s, Jaguar's 420G was legendarily huge. This was a big, luxurious saloon loaded with palatial comfort. Perhaps the closest Jaguar ever got to an American-sized vehicle, it could seat six full-size adults and was impressively agile for its size, too! Power steering by standard, disc brakes and the then still fairly fresh XK engine made for a deeply capable car.
First registered in July 1969, this rare manual transmission example of the 420G benefits from a comprehensive restoration completed in 1991, which included a bare-shell respray and mechanical overhaul. Having been recently recommissioned after eight years of storage, this Jaguar now comes to us ready and waiting for a new owner - a rare and very desirable Jag for those seeking a touch of old money luxury.
