The Appeal

The Mini Moke was designed by BMC with the hopes of entering military service - a small, squat utility car that could storm its way off-road and prove easy to keep. Sadly, despite the valiant effort, the car's low stance made it a difficult prospect for the defence sector, and the hyper-lightweight car became a quirky little leisure vehicle instead.

This 2016-registered example has been imported from Sri Lanka and is now on UK plates, ready for its next adventure. Records are available for a large amount of new mechanical parts fitted at the end of 2021, and the vehicle has been stored in a cool, dry warehouse over the past year, driven periodically to keep everything in working order.
