The Appeal
Introduced in 1968, the Yamaha YAS-1 challenged everyone’s perception of 125 cc two-strokes. In spite of its modest engine capacity, the YAS-1’s performance far exceeded expectations, and could embarrass bikes with engines twice the size.
This 1970 example is quite exceptional. Original, unrestored and with only 6,468 miles on the odometer, it's still in fantastic shape. We’re informed that it has been enjoyed by the same owner all its life, with the original UK logbook included in the sale.
